Frequently Asked Questions
How can I be sure of the reliability and quality of the services? Agincourt Collegiate Institute is one of the oldest, most well-known, and one of the most academically-prestigious schools in Toronto and Erika was elected by the head of the Music Department (which has some of the most prestigious music programs in Canada) at ACI to be the official webmaster of the ACI Music website and has held this position for three consecutive years. She has been trusted to build and manage the world wide web reputation of the ACI Music Department and thus far have not let them down. In addition, Riviera Vibe has remodelled a website for a business in Greece, and after the completion of the remodel, the owner reported back that they have been receiving countless emails containing positive feedback and their sales have even increased significantly. Riviera Vibe will get you started on the right foot and will provide you with incomparable quality that will help you boost your business. What makes Riviera Vibe different from other design businesses? Riviera Vibe will act on your ideas, your visions, and your dreams. Whatever it takes to put together your dream design, Riviera Vibe will be ready to embark on. However long the process, however complex the project, and however precise the detail, Riviera Vibe will find a way to reach the once seemingly-impossible goal and put it right at your fingertips. Why doesn't Riviera Vibe do web designs for online clients? Unlike regular graphic designs, it is very difficult to accomodate all of the needs of the person ordering the web design when the designer cannot communicate with them face-to-face. Web development can be a very complex process, and when the client cannot have the privilege of sitting down with the designer to thoroughly go over all the aspects, it becomes very frustrating and inconvenient for both ends. (Note: Online interaction web development may be applicable on certain circumstances. Please inquire if it becomes necessary.) Questions for Erika: Do you have formal education in design? I will in the next few months. I have been accepted into several design programs, including one at the Ontario College for Art & Design - one of the most prestigious schools for art and design in Canada which has been recategorized as a University, but still holds its orginal name. I am currently in the process of selecting the most suitable program for myself. I am originally a self-taught designer with an undying passion for the art of design. I am currently the official webmaster for a website: ACI Music. I also manage several more websites of my own in addition to Riviera Vibe, including the globally-known, Celinerific.com. I design out of pure love of designing. No one makes me to do it and I don't need to do it - I just simply LOVE it. What tools do you use to design? I have become extensively-skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, HTML, CSS, and Javascript coding. I am also very familiar with a host of other tools, such as Adobe Flash, Flash MX, Sothink Glanda, and several other music-editing and video-editing programs such as Reason, Garage Band, Cubase SE, Finale, Audacity, Adobe Audition, Sony Sound Forge, and Sony Vegas Pro. Are you a dedicated, full-time freelancer? I am not full-time, but I am certainly dedicated to everything I do. I am still a student, and as a result, despite wanting to, it becomes more difficult for me to be full-time. But not being full time certainly does not stop me from doing what I love. I practise designing almost every day in order to keep my skills and designs up to par. I have recently begun digital art drawing, which will work to improve accurancy, blending, and colour skills. There is a lot to come, we just have to wait for it! |
